
The University of Nottingham Centre for Innovation in Carbon Capture and Storage’s (CICCS) free annual conference:
Innovations for a cleaner future, will take place on the
12th of November 2009, opening with registration and refreshments at 9.30am, closing at 4.30pm, with a light lunch provided. World leading guest speakers include: Dr Jeff Chapman, Chief Executive of the Carbon Capture and Storage Association (CCSA); Professor Mercedes Maroto-Valer, Director of the Centre for Innovation in Carbon Capture and Storage (CICCS); Professor Martin Binks, Director of the Institute for Enterprise and Innovation; and Professor Michael Steven, Professor of Environmental Remote Sensing at the University of Nottingham.
This event will also host the
CICCS post-graduate student poster competition in CCS & Sustainable Energy, with a prize of £150 for best presentation plus two £50 runners up prizes; which will be awarded at the end of the conference.
