Whilst the current focus is on getting CCS demo projects funded and built, the more strategic issue is securing political and public support. Without this, CCS will remain a footnote in the western democracies. The main 'selling points' would seem to be - protection of mining jobs and use of coal (but perhaps only for 50 or so years), minimising the rise in future electricity prices whilst still reducing CO2 and ensuring that there is some form of flexible and despatchable generation to compliment the variability of wind (and some other renewables) and the inflexibility of nuclear.
thank you so much .. i was searching someone who can help in this topic.
is it alright if i sent you a model questionnaire about my doubts, i would be so grateful if you could answer few or full.Questionnaire.docx
