Thanks. I haven't tried it yet, but will do so in a few minutes. No worries about law questions, that part I can handle. I'm just trying to get a good grip on regulations and patterning them after oil and gas regimes. I don't know what's working right now - as far as insuring that the carbon is in place for 100 years, what happens when it escapes, who's liable, what type of escape plan is there? Lots of issues on this topic. I personally think it's not such a great idea, but my advisor likes it, so I'll keep plugging away at my thesis.

The matching share will be funded by six Missouri utilities. Research partners include City Utilities, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Missouri State University, and Missouri University of Science & Technology. The project will assess shallow carbon sequestration in the Lamotte Formation. Anything else in particular you would like to know? Are you involved in a carbon sequestration project?
