Dear Prateek

Thank you for the interest in doing an Internship in Schlumberger. I see from your areas of interest that you have done some very interesting work in the areas of capture and pipeline network optimization. Schlumberger is currently involved in geoscientific work, which requires a G&G type specialization.

I wish you the best for your studies and best regards

Dear Darshak,

My e mail ID is pb.iitkgp@gmail.com
I will like to see the reports, which will help me in working more over it. Till now I have work on Carbon capture in IGCC plant and succesfully simulated it, and in optimize the pipeline network for transport CO2 and now I want to work more over this field.

Best Regards,

Dear Prateek,

So nice to hear from you on the subject. I have just started gathering information on the subject and am finding so much on it. I am more interested in capture and transport part. The study of reservaior may not be my part. By the way, I have downloaded some good material includeing M. S / Ph. D repports. I am sure you would be having. Neverthless, let me know your e mail ID and I will send it across. My e mail ID is darshak_mehta@indiatimes.com.

As for me, I am a mechanical engineer from REC (Now NIT) Surat of 91 batch. I have worked on renewable energy, energy efficiency and CDM. In effect I have worked on two projects where CO2 capture was involved. One where a CO2 production facility was converted from diesel to biomass and another where afertilser plant was made to capture CO2 more efficiently. At present I am in technical support facility for CDM at Asia Development Bank in Philippines. I am pushing people here to work on CCS.

Best luck for your studies. Do let me know your ID and let me know the area of your work.

Regards,

Darshak
