Hi Ms. Praveen,
I am M.Tech (Env. Engg) final year student at Indian institute of technology roorkee and am currently aiming for a doctorate in the field of CCS.I had presented a seminar on CCS at IITR. As of now i am batch topper, and also had excellent CGPA in B.Tech (civil). If u can lend me a four by letting me any opening matching my interest field in your institute i 'll be very thankful.

Thanks for the reply. I am also working in the very same area, but, doing some research related to self healing of the fractures. I am also working in finding the contact angles and interfacial tensions between the CO2, substrate rock and saline water (for the assessment of rel perm characteristics and hence the storage capacity and safety). I hope we can have some sort of synergy by sharing our knowledge and exchange our views.

Thanking you
Sincerely

Dear Ms. Praveena,

My name is Prateek Bumb. I am a 4th year undergraduate student of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur pursuing dual degree course (Integrated BTech +MTech) in Mining Engineering with specialization in Safety and Environmental/Disaster management . I have done a substantial work in the field of Carbon Capture and Storage technology supported by international research papers and industrial sponsored projects. My entrepreneurial initiatives in clean energy sector, CODE GREEN (A Carbon Capture and Storage Business model), have won highest honors at the top business plan competitions organized nation-wide.

I am very interested to know about the student opportunities for an internship in the field of CCS.

I will be glad if you can guide me a little in this regard.

Best Regards,
Prateek Bumb
IIT Kharagpur

Hi Praveena
I am also working on Carbon Sequestration (saline aquifers), I felt it would be useful for both of us if we are in touch.

Dear Praveena,
Can you let me know who is working on carbon capture part - especially on post combustion technology? I am more intersted in current research topics and technology hurdles. Thank you.
Darshak
