Hi Sir,
It will be my pleasure to share knowledge with you, if you are intrested in estimating co2 of different forest types i can send you differnt methodlogies, how to estimate soil and aboveground carbon. You can also cite my recently published paper in Carbon Balance and Management ( 2009 4: 6).

Hi Amir,
I am fine Sir, our activities on carbon capture and storage are different from your CCS activities. We are presently estmating the rate of carbon sequestration of different tree species and their capablities to store CO2. So that such tree species can be used for plantation in vast deagrded and barren land for plantation in India. Besides this we are also estimating the carbon Flux in India.

Hello Amir,

I just read ur profile. I think we can share some knowledge on this platform. CCS is an emerging technology that I think could be so useful to your country.

Hi Amir,
Thanks for your message! I'm from Saudi Arabia but currently a student in London, I am working on my PhD at Queen Mary, University of London and my research subject is directly related to CCS. How about you?

Very useful files search engine. http://Indexoffiles.com is a search engine designed to search files in various file sharing and uploading sites.

Amir- I am going on holiday through December 3. Will you be in the NY area at all after then? I could meet with you the weeks of Dec 8-19. I would be very interested in meeting with you and discussing projects. I am looking at potentially putting together a conference on either international CCS projects or CO2-EOR (and policy developments). Please email me at e.doten@gmail.com as I haven't been on this website in awhile.

Dear Amir Mohammad Eslami,
thank you for your comment!

I've just uploded three files for you:
1) short video about Weyburn project under "Videos" section on this networking website;
2) a documents about various completed and on-going CCS projects in Canada, including reports on Weyburn-Midale. This are the documents taken from National Resources Canada CCS Technology Interactive CD-ROM, v.2006, splitted into two .zip archives and could be downloaded here (each one is ~90 Mb):

part-1:
http://rapidshare.com/files/136388235/Carbon_Dioxide_CCS_Technology_Interactive_CD-ROM_-_NRCan__2006.zip

part-2:
http://rapidshare.com/files/136399955/Carbon_Dioxide_CCS_Technology_Interactive_CD-ROM_-_NRCan__2006.z01

Directions to download: past the URL in the web-browser; the page will load, click "Free User", wait until countdown ends (usually 1-2 minutes; to download the 2nd file you'll have to wait 1-2 hours due to server restrictions), click "Download" and save the file to your HDD.

Then you'll have to combine two files into one archive and unpack - this is done by using WinZip free software.

Unfortunatelly I will be out of Regina on the last week of August (24-30 August), but if you will arrive before 24th or after 30th, so sure, we can meet!
Have you already arranged your trip to Weyburn?
Do you have where to stay?
You may contact Dr. Malcolm Wilson (http://www.energy.ca/users/folder.asp?FolderID=3999) to arrange your trip to Weyburn if you haven't done it yet (contact his secretary Ms. Victoria Muzychuk ).
We appreciate your interest in Canadian CCS technologies and will be glad to meet you in Regina!
There're two research centers in Regina worth to visit:

PTRC (Petroleum Technology Research Center), web-site:
http://ptrc.ca/

ITC (International Test Centre for CO2 Caprure), web-site:
http://www.co2-research.ca/index.php?id=1

These are two buildings located nearby, on campus of University of Regina (U of R).
The HTC Purenergy modular system for CO2 capture mentioned in last issue of Carbon Capture Journal (July-August 2008, pp. 5-7 & back of the cover page) was developed in ITC Center.

Best regards,
Andrii E. Torn

Hi Dear Amir Mohammad Eslami
Thank you very much for your reply. It’s sink study, which means assessing which parts of Iran have General site-selection criteria to be used for underground storage of co2 in the future .It also contains calculating the underground storage
potential for each type of reservoir including :Empty natural gas& oil fields
,Remaining oil fields to explore with enhanced oil recovery (EOR)& Aquifers (water containing underground layers)for Iran.
for your information my adviser is:Dr. Kamyar Movagharnejad,Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering Faculty, Noushiravani Institute of Technolohy, University of Mazandaran.

hope to hear from you
With best regards

Dear Mr. Amir Mohammad Eslami
Thank you very much for your message, it encouraged us a lot. Our thesis is mainly about parts of Iran which are suitable for underground storage of co2, is it a new subject or not?
I will be happy to hear from you

Hi Amir
I work for Hydrogen Energy International, HEI, a joint venture between BP Alternative Energy & Rio Tinto. I am the lead electrical engineer on the Hydrogen Power Abu Dhabi, HPAD, project, which is the world's first commercial scale project to produce power from hydrogen rich fuel. HPAD is a joint venture between HEI and Masdar, (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company). The feed stock is natural gas, which we decarbonise to produce a hydorgen/nitrogen stream and a CO2 stream. The CO2 is dried, compressed and exported for use in Enhenced Oil Recovery, EOR. The plant will have a net power outpout of about 400MW and will capture about 1.8Mte/yr of C02. Presently in Front End Engineering Design, FEED, with Foster Wheeler in Reading, project sanction is expected in Q3 next year and commercial operation in Q2 2013. It's a very exciting time to be actually involved in the development and design of such a plant, which will hopefully demonstrate that 'GREEN' electrical power can be produced from fosil fuels economically.
Details of the project and HEI can be found on our web site, www.hydrogenenergy.com.

Warm Regards & Welcome

Hello Amir,

We have as TNO experience in CO2 removal and we are developing a new chemical absorption system for CO2 capture, which we are now testing on large scale pilot plant in Rotterdam.
This new solvent has been tested on lab and mini plant scale for different purposes (CO2 removal from flue gases and enviroment control experiments).
In addition to this practical experience we have done a lot of feasibility study and processes benchmarking to help different companies and partners in selecting the right technology for their applications.
if you need more information or you welling to discuss these issues more please feel free to contact me (mohammad.abuzahra@tno.nl, +31622403682).

Hi Amir
I work for BP Alternative Energy. Currently I'm in a team involved in the UK govt competition for capital funding for transport & storage of CO2. I'm a geologist by training. Key thing happening right now is that the one consortium most of us thought would win (EoN coal power@ Kingsnorth to the Tullow-operated Hewett gas field in the Southern North Sea) is in disarray following Tullow's sale of Hewett to ENI who have publically announced a plan to use it as a swing nat. gas storage facility. The govt is due to publish it's first round short-listing of competitors any time now so we wait with baited breath!
